Base pay rangeHourly Rate: $22.50
Bonus Pay: Up to $500/month
This range is provided by Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Qualifications- No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- 1 year of retail management experience, or previous Goodwill Retail or Warehouse experience, is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
- Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation, goal-setting, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling, and inventory management software.
- Assist General Manager in overseeing store operations, resources, and budgets to ensure all goals and benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Model core values to uphold a culture with an understanding and commitment to safety, ethics, and quality within the store.
- Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff and ensure they perform their essential/primary functions.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service to ensure repeat donors, shoppers, and staff retention and de-escalate customer dissatisfaction quickly and effectively.
- Coach and counsel employees about the performance of their job duties, including discipline up to and including termination.
- Exercise independent judgment in assigning daily job duties to achieve daily operational tasks.
- Help identify and recommend employees with proven performance for advancement.
- Safeguard company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft. Report any theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, or Loss Prevention.
- Must read, follow, model, and enforce all agency policies, procedures, and values.
- Utilize efficient staffing methods to ensure the store is staffed appropriately. Arrange for replacements of absent employees when necessary. Audit, edit, and approve payroll.
- Eliminate wasteful practices through process improvement.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to MERS Goodwill’s dress code.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Monthly Bonus up to $500.00
- Individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.

- 401(A) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.
