Overview
We are seeking a
Cardiology RN internally referred to as our Cardio Nurse. Cardiology RNs assist cardiologists by offering direct care to patients with acute or chronic cardiovascular diseases. They may use electrocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular monitoring to evaluate the heart health of our patients.

Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

- Assess patients’ cardiac health through physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, and monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) to identify irregularities or signs of distress.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, oral medications, and intravenous infusions to regulate blood pressure, control arrhythmias, or manage heart failure symptoms.
- Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques to manage their condition effectively.
- Assist physicians during cardiac procedures such as nuclear stress test.
- Respond to cardiac emergencies such as cardiac arrests or acute myocardial infarctions (heart attacks) by initiating cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
