An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides urgent and essential medical care for patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries in a high-paced hospital environment. ER RNs are frontline healthcare providers who perform rapid assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. An ER Registered Nurse has expertise in emergency care procedures, such as starting IVs, administering medications, wound care, and basic life support.

This RN can quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments and remains flexible to manage the unpredictable nature of emergency situations and rapidly changing priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury.
• Triage and assess patient needs quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and next steps.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
