Fitness Manager – BODYBAR Pilates Blue Springs

Be part of the founding leadership bringing BODYBAR Pilates to Eastern Jackson County! Our Blue Springs studio opens in Spring 2026, followed by a second location in Lee’s Summit. As Fitness Manager, you will shape the BODYBAR experience, build an exceptional instructor team, and help create a Pilates community rooted in strength and connection.

Who We’re Looking For
  • You are energetic, knowledgeable, encouraging, and committed to excellence in class programming and instruction.

  • You are an experienced fitness professional, connection driven, passionate about coaching and developing others, and excited to support studio growth in a rapidly expanding region.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Teach approximately fifteen BODYBAR Pilates classes each week and deliver powerful, consistent, and community oriented class experiences.
  • Lead with a service focused mindset to create standout member experiences rooted in professionalism, positivity, and connection.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and support instructors to ensure top tier, consistent class delivery.
  • Partner with owners and studio manager on growth strategies, sales support, community partnerships, and outreach efforts.
  • Build and manage the class schedule strategically to meet client demand, support instructors, and maximize engagement.
  • Track key performance metrics and use KPIs to guide decisions and elevate studio operations.
  • Oversee equipment readiness by managing maintenance needs, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs or replacements.
  • Engage with members before, during, and after class to build relationships, support progress, and strengthen community.
What Will Help You Succeed
  • A degree in Exercise Science or a related field or an accredited personal training or group fitness certification or a 500 hour Pilates certification.
  • Five years of experience in the fitness industry including at least two years in a leadership or management role.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Community minded and passionate about building relationships.
  • A positive, team focused leadership style and the ability to lead by example.
