Tax Preparer

Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Blue Springs, Missouri. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in handling individual and corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient with tax software, and capable of managing diverse tax filings for clients.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation tax returns.

- Utilize Drake Tax Software efficiently to process and manage tax filings.

- Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax preparation.

- Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance.

- Address client inquiries regarding tax filings and provide clear explanations.

- Ensure all deadlines for tax submissions are met consistently.

- Identify potential areas of tax savings and provide recommendations to clients.

- Maintain organized records of all tax documentation and filings.

- Work closely with team members to streamline tax preparation processes. Requirements - Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual and corporate tax returns.

- Proficiency in using Drake Tax Software for tax filings.

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

- Familiarity with partnership, S corporation, and C corporation tax structures.

- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information.
