M&S Electric is seeking a highly organized and proactive
Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
to support daily office operations. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to staff members, assist with project documentation, and help ensure the office operates smoothly.
- Maintain confidentiality while performing all duties
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate team needs and improve efficiency and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous manner
- Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Draft and proofread documents, emails, and other correspondence
- Support Project Managers by organizing and maintaining project documentation
- Assist with office coordination and general administrative support
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned to support company operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- Experience in the construction or electrical industry is a plus
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift packages or materials up to 25 lbs
