Campus Ministry Coordinator (part-time)
The Ministry Coordinator for the Blue Springs Campus will manage administrative tasks, scheduling, and research while supporting various ministries, including Guest Services, Next Steps, Spiritual Formation, and Outreach events.
Personal Responsibilities- Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in God’s Word and engaging in the personal study of God’s Word.
- Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1‑4).
- Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41‑42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18‑20).
- Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1‑7, Titus 1:5‑9).
- Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1‑7 & 9:12).
- Become a member of Ab urden Life.
- Supports the Blue Springs Campus Pastor by completing daily tasks related to email, mail, and calls in an efficient and organized manner.
- Assists Blue Springs ministry staff in ministry-specific needs as requested.
- Supports the Guest Services ministry team and prepares it for Sunday services. Follows up with Support Services and individuals as it relates to Next Steps and First Step. Communicates with staff members on behalf of the Campus Pastor when necessary.
- Supports the campus pastor with administrative tasks as needed.
- Attends staff meetings as requested.
- Ensures that bereavement gifts are ordered and delivered. screening>
- Organizes and plans departmental events.
- Maintains conference rooms daily for meetings, ensuring that they are stocked and hospitable.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
Manage ordering and pickup of necessary supplies and materials for ministry events and weekly operations.
Event HostingServe as host for gatherings and events held at the Blue Springs Campus, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
Attend and assist with First Step once per month, helping facilitate a smooth experience for attendees.
Campus SetupOversee setup and preparation on Thursdays and Sunday mornings at the Blue Springs campus, ensuring all spaces are ready for ministry use.
First Step LogisticsCoordinate ordering and resource preparation for First Step events.
Scheduling and CommunicationMaintain the campus calendar by inputting events, team activities, and ministry details in a timely manner.
Baptism Team SupportServe as part of the Baptism Team for the Blue Springs campus, helping organize and execute baptism weekends.
Skills and QualificationsMust have excellent organizational skills to multi‑task for multiple supervisors. Microsoft office suite, database management and general computer usage skills are imperative to completing the daily tasks associated with this position. Exhibits a collaborative and friendly personality that shows grace and practices confidentiality with the public that comes through the doors daily. Has the ability to managetablet projects in a deadline‑heavy environment.
