WHO WE ARE: Bevlab Animal Hospital serves the Blue Island, IL community for nearly 40 years. Our clinic is full-service, recently renovated, and built around three core values: synergy, positivity, and compassion. We operate daily with these values.
We offer: small animal general practice, ill pet visits, wellness exams, soft tissue surgery, dentals, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, Antech reference lab. Our goal is top-notch care for pets and genuine support for each other.

Responsibilities- Provide small animal wellness exams and diagnosis
- Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and necessary diagnostics
- Administer and accurately monitor controlled substances
- Maintain and complete patient records
- Serve as mentor to technical support staff
- Build and establish rapport with the client base, demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and clear communication on ongoing home treatment
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program
- Licensure in the state of Illinois or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Strong proficiency in medical knowledge and surgical skills, particularly in soft tissue surgery
- Exemplary professionalism and communication skills with both team members and clients
- Strong decision-making and time-management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
- Compensation: $135,000–$165,000 base salary
