POSITION: PHYSICAL EDUCATION/HEALTH (Maternity Leave, January - March)
Qualifications- State of Illinois Professional Educator License & Health Certificate
- Knowledge of assessment in physical education & health
- Knowledge of adaptive physical education principles and tenets
- Knowledgeable about best practices in physical education & health instruction
- Desire to pursue professional growth, develop new methodologies and incorporate technology
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a collegial, team environment
- Ability to enhance the wellness of a diverse group of students
- Knowledge of effective instruction strategies for sports-focused/fitness-focused classes
- Interest in accepting co-curricular or coaching positions
