Location: Cincinnati (Monday - Thursday Onsite)

• Accountable for proactively leading or supporting software engineering activities that create deliverables that guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions.
• Develop target‑state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations) to evolve the organization’s development process.
• Conduct research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in design. Review design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead.
• Leverage paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases.
• Work with the Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code.
• Adhere to standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high‑quality components and services.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Follow defined branching strategies. Check new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements.
• Collaborate with Consultants’ Quality Assurance on test case creation.
• Perform continuous improvement of the team’s process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead.
