Role Overview
The Vice President of Operations is a company-wide integrator who translates the organization’s vision and direction into a coherent operating system
—the cadence, processes, data, and tools.
The role partners closely with Finance, the CGO organization, and Technology & Delivery to align handoffs, accountability, and decision-making. This leader owns internal reporting and facilities/procurement/renewals, and orchestrates cross-functional execution to turn plans into predictable results.
The VP also provides operational leadership across People Operations—working with HR on hiring operations, onboarding, policy rollout, and workforce planning—to ensure teams have the clarity, capacity, and support they need to perform. This position reports to the CEO and serves as a central point of coordination for the executive team.
Responsibilities
Translate strategy into operations by establishing the company's operating cadence (quarterly, monthly, weekly) with clear owners, plans, and decision rights.Own internal reporting and executive dashboards as the single source of truth for bookings, revenue, gross margin inputs, utilization inputs, retention and expansion indicators, delivery health, and forecasts.Partner with Finance, the Chief Growth organization, and Technology and Delivery to align pricing guardrails, pipeline hygiene, delivery readiness, and forecast accuracy.Connect sales to the statement of work, through delivery, to billing with defined handoffs, service-level agreements, and checkpoints to reduce leakage and cycle time.Lead the operational People Operations interface—work with Human Resources on hiring operations, onboarding, policy rollout, and workforce planning in close collaboration with Delivery.Oversee facilities, procurement, renewals, and vendor management; negotiate terms, manage performance, and optimize total cost of ownership.Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery for operations, and act as the information security and compliance liaison for audits and client due-diligence requests in partnership with Information Technology and Legal.Govern business tooling and data flows—including Professional Services Automation, Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, and collaboration systems—with Information Technology and Business Intelligence; ensure data quality, access, and auditability.Provide project portfolio oversight through delivery operations reviews (projects and managed services) to surface risks early and drive corrective actions.Standardize core processes—such as statement-of-work and purchase-order setup, time and expense, and billing readiness—and automate where practical. Collaborate with respective owners and ensure consistency of SOPs and metrics monitoring.Maintain a cross-functional log of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (or decisions), and lead issue resolution and post-mortems.Coordinate contracts, NDAs, and legal workflows with Finance to ensure commercial hygiene and compliance.Publish change communications—playbooks, SOPs, frequently asked questions, and “how-to” guides—to drive adoption of new policies and tools.Qualifications
