As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive store success, develop and coach the team, and lead in creating exceptional in‑store and community experiences.
People- Recruit, interview, and coach talent; manage team performance with clear expectations and accountability.
- Develop the Key Holder and Athlete Advisor team to consistently produce leaders.
- Drive traffic and brand love through strategic outreach and monthly community programming.
- Attend monthly tennis lessons with your team.
- Identify, onboard, and engage store ambassadors.
- Maintain the in‑store community board with up‑to‑date information.
- Lead and execute impactful visual merchandising according to vendor guidelines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving, processing, and team compliance.
- Collaborate with peers and partners using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Lead the floor to ensure it is fully restocked and recovered throughout the day.
- Partner with the Store Manager to analyze Key Performance Indicators and drive business forward.
- Participate in weekly and quarterly business reviews with the Store Manager.
- Consistently deliver on sales targets and maintain labor efficiency through floor leadership.
- 1-3 years of retail leadership experience in fashion or sportswear retail.
- Demonstrated ability to build long‑lasting, meaningful relationships in the tennis community.
- Proven success in developing leaders and setting a clear vision aligned with team goals.
- Outstanding communication skills; passion for delivering an exceptional consumer experience.
- Comfort with high autonomy and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong teamwork, integrity, and respect.
$25.00/hr - $29.00/hr
