CNC Machinist

Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for our client in Bloomington, MN!

We are seeking qualified candidates with:

• A strong background in CNC Machining
• Experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathe machines
• A motivated demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities!

• Run and monitor parts to customer specifications.
• Verify the existing or create new CNC programs as per the production requirements.
• Machine set‑up, adjust and change tooling as needed.
• Inspect parts during process to ensure quality and customer requirements are met.
• Perform 1st level maintenance tasks (liquid check and refill, filter status, etc.).

Position Type: Direct Placement

Pay: $26+/hr.
** Depending on experience**

Schedule: M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM

Required Skills /

Qualifications:

• CNC Machining Degree or Certificate.
• Minimum 4 years' experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathe machines (ideally Euro Tech).
• Minimum 4 years' experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Strong math and blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of G&M codes, ideally with Mitsubishi controls/programming.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude!

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods at a time, up to 2–3 hours.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Repetitive motion, including loading and unloading parts into a machine.
• Working with oil and water‑based coolant.
