Database Administrator

Genesis
10 is currently seeking an Oracle Database Administrator for a contract position with a Major US Airline located in Bloomington, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will focus on the migration of non-production, on-premise Oracle databases off of Exadata X6 infrastructure. The ideal candidate will serve as a key technical resource and an escalation point for offshore team members involved in the project.

• Administer Oracle databases, versions 12.2 and 19c, on Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux
• Build and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard replication, including switchover and failover procedures
• Utilize Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for tasks such as instantiating Data Guard replication
• Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager agent installation and target registration
• Act as the initial point of technical escalation for offshore resources on the project
• Execute the migration of non-production on-premise Oracle databases

• Proven experience in Oracle database administration, versions 12.2 and 19c, on Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux
• Expertise in Oracle Data Guard replication build and troubleshooting (versions 12.2 and 19c), especially switchover and failover via command line DGMGRL
• Strong skills with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), versions 12.2 and 19c, on Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (version 13.5 preferred), including agent installation and target registration
• Ability to act as an initial point of escalation for technical questions from other team members

Pay range: $39.82 - $47.82
