Position Overview
The Senior Workday Analyst will serve as a lead functional analyst for Workday and is responsible for Workday performance, maintenance, and enhancements. This role provides functional expertise, leadership and consulting support in the design, testing and implementation of new functionality and will deliver exceptional service and support to Human Resources and employees. The Senior Workday Analyst will partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business leaders to advance Workday solutions while focusing on continuous process improvement and scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities- Serve as a Workday product specialist, building strong relationships with HR, internal business partners, and third-party vendors to design, prioritize, and implement scalable new functionality to ensure that service and solutions provided meet current and future business needs
- Serve as a consultant and thought partner for COE regarding Workday best practices, enhancements and troubleshooting
- Maximize and maintain functionality for assigned HR Business function(s)/Workday Specific Module(s) while identifying cross functional Workday and downstream system impacts
- Proactively identify ways to make current processes more efficient and bring forward process and system improvements with a focus on scalability, self-service, and automation
- Provide Workday support including business process configuration, tenant configuration, data updates and loads, and system upgrades, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Partner with HR Technology team members to test and approve configuration changes in accordance with Change Control policy
- Monitor Workday releases and test functionality of new features to ensure expected system operations across upgrades
- Provide accurate and timely day-to-day support to employees; process and manage escalated HR Service Center related tickets as applicable
- Develop and deliver training to HR stakeholders on Workday processes and functionality, train new system users
- Develop and document processes and procedures, guidelines, and policies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years' experience supporting Workday
- Workday Pro Certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in systems management (configuration, integrations, security)
- Strong problem-solving skills, system skills, and technical aptitude/interest
- Ability to gather technical and business requirements and translate into action plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence decision and drive results
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality work within deadlines
- Self-starter, natural curiosity, analytical thinking
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced charts/graphs, condition formatting, data tables) and PowerPoint functionality
- Demonstrated ability to be confidential with personal data

- Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen

The base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000.
Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other Digi Key employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
