Killebrews is a high energy, new bar that is opening up at the Wyndham Bloomington Mall of America. We are seeking friendly and professional Bartenders to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service. Essential Functions:

Bartender
  • Greet guest pleasantly as they approach the bar; promote house drinks and use up-selling skills to increase revenues.
  • Prepare beverages requested by guests using established pouring standards and drink recipes to provide a consistent product to the guest and to control costs.
  • Monitor guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to a guest should cease; notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired conditions of guests. Check identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage service is questionable.
  • Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the supervisor or MOD.
  • Interact with guests pleasantly during shift.
  • Set up bar including all liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies
  • Performs routine daily tasks as set forth in the daily checklist.
  • Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before, during and at close of shift.
Supportive Functions:
  • Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience.
  • Any other tasks as requested by direct supervisor or other hotel management staff.
Requirements Job

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees and guests.
