This position is responsible for safely transporting guests to/from their destinations, providing information and luggage assistance, in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. It also anticipates guest needs, exceeds expectations, and implements creative solutions to provide exceptional service, following CSM high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Safely transport guests to/from their destinations, provide information and luggage assistance
• Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner
• Provide the highest level of service
• Assist and direct guests by knowledge of hotel property, amenities, local area, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services
• Work as a team player in meeting guests’ needs and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments as necessary; understand and follow the CSM guest service recovery program
• Fill out all required logs and complete safety checks of the vehicles
• Ensure the vehicle is filled with gas, clean, and presentable by picking up trash and periodically going through a car wash
• Properly use and maintain hotel vehicle, equipment, and supplies; adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste; plan to avoid unnecessary trips
• Safely operate the vehicle and adhere to all applicable traffic laws
• Complete preventive maintenance, DOT, and required safety equipment checks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with CSM, brand, local, state, and federal regulations; follow all CSM procedures for guest/associate incidents
• Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
• Know the location of the van insurance card
• Report all traffic violations or accidents to management immediately
• Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties
• Adhere to CSM general work rules and department procedures
• Attend all required department and hotel meetings

Competencies/

Skills Required:

Prior hotel and/or related guest service experience preferred. Attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

This is an on-call position. Hours are not guaranteed.

Hourly rate: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Physical:
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Current and valid driver's license with a safe driving record required. Must have an appropriate class of driver’s license based on hotel vehicle requirements and must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age for insurance purposes.
