About the RoleAs a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children ages 2–6, helping them build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through evidence-based ABA therapy. You’ll work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and be fully supported with ongoing coaching and training. This is an on-site role based in Bloomington, MN.
What You’ll Do- Support children with autism through structured, play-based ABA sessions
- Track and record progress so treatment plans can adapt as children grow
- Bring energy, patience, and creativity to daily skill-building routines
- Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to implement individualized plans
- Communicate with families to celebrate wins and keep progress moving forward
- Create a safe, positive, encouraging environment where children thrive
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting neurodivergent learners
- Foundational knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or interest in learning
- Experience in childcare, education, behavioral health, or working with individuals with autism (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a steady, compassionate approach
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related fields is a plus)
- Willingness to complete and maintain RBT certification—supported and paid for by Just Kids
- Flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to showing up for the children we serve
- Paid RBT training and certification
