Job Skills Requirements
- High School Graduate.
- CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) course completion preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of competency test.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and carry out directions and instructions.
- Able to function effectively with minimal direct supervision.
- Good health status and emotional stability.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to resident service and service excellence.
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude, with positivity, flexibility, and initiative in providing care.
- Adjust to changing resident needs with patience and flexibility.
- Maintain a positive attitude even in challenging situations.
- Engage meaningfully with residents to enhance their wellbeing.
- Create meaningful engagement with residents (e.g., activities, conversation, emotional support).
- Ensure residents’ rooms, clothing, and personal spaces are clean and well‑maintained.
- Enhance the dining experience by assisting with meals in a respectful, dignified manner.
- Perform assigned tasks efficiently and within expected time frames.
- Follow through on responsibilities without repeated reminders.
- Adhere to attendance policy, working all scheduled shifts or following proper procedures when unable to work.
- Arrive on time and ready to begin shift responsibilities in uniform and with name tag.
- Take ownership of tasks and ensure responsibilities are completed thoroughly.
