Controller

LHH is seeking a Controller for a privately held company that is looking for someone to lead its corporate accounting function. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision making across multiple business units.

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and month‑end close
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and internal controls
• Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy and performance
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi‑entity environments is a plus
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

$140,000‑$160,000
