We are hiring in the Equipment Engineering and Services department within the Recording Heads Operations at Seagate Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN.

We are looking for skilled Engineering Technicians on multiple shifts. In this position, you will work on maintenance related activities on equipment in our Wafer Fab Cleanroom and actively interact cross-functionally with Process, RD, and Manufacturing departments. We are a team-oriented organization with a priority to enhance technician skills at all levels in the department.

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLC’s, Robotics and ability to read schematics.
• Able to follow and complete PM instructions.
• Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Includes Technicians that repair and maintain production and production test equipment.
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Administers training programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures.
• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
• May provide guidance to other team members.
• As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways. Able to work nights and weekends.

• Experience with MS Office.
• Related experience in production, manufacturing, semiconductor or related field.
• Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday from 6:30 am–6:30 pm.

• Associate degree in a technical field.
• Software and hardware experience.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $26.44–$37.81 /hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
