Our Development Engineering Technician will perform experiments for the Sky Water Advanced Technology Services (ATS) Engineering team.
B Shift
: Sun–Tue + every other Wed, 6:00 PM–6:15 AM. 10% shift differential.
- Communicate to Development Engineers on nights/weekends when ATS material is not moving in the factory.
- Troubleshooting and disposition of non‑conforming material.
- Performs standard and advanced engineering experiments from our online ATS Technician Request system.
- Will become proficient to process wafers across all fab toolsets (100+).
- Develops work instruction, process, and metrology recipes, and refine for results.
- Utilize continuous improvement and engage colleagues within operations group to eliminate waste and improve product quality.
- Operate with a reasonable level of independence.
- AAS and 1+ years, or BS and 0-1 years’ experience in a semiconductor fab or lab environment. Will also consider relevant semi experience in lieu of degree.
- Understanding of Semi processing in one of the following areas:
Photo, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, or Implant/RTA. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office
- Demonstrated experience with engineering experiments
- Prior experience with RSC writing and changing engineering specs
- Demonstrated experience with SPC
U.S. Citizen
Required:
This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
The hourly range for this role is $24.39–$36.58 per hour. (This role also offers a shift differential of 10%). Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job‑related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
