Our global EPC Firm client is hiring an Environmental Engineer – Air Quality for a full-time opportunity Bloomington, MN.

The Environmental Engineer – Air Quality will work within the Environmental Services Division.

• This position will be responsible for preparing air permit applications for major projects, including Title V air permits.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality requirements.
• Technical understanding of this position will require knowledge of a wide variety of complex industrial operations; some experience in refining is a plus.
• Responsible for keeping up to date with new and proposed air permitting requirements, emission estimating methods, and regulations.
• Regularly meets and corresponds with clients, agency officials, or other outside personnel. Interested in international working partnerships.
• Specific knowledge and ability to bring key clients preferred.
• This position includes some marketing responsibilities and occasional travel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree from an accredited program plus minimum 3 years of applicable professional experience.
  • Completion of a master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with contractors, co-workers, and other professionals.
• Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
