HoursApproximately 4-10 hours per week
Duties- Serve as first point of contact in the office: promptly and courteously greet students, staff, faculty, and visitors
- Answer the department's general phone line and email account promptly or forward as necessary
- Answer general questions about the university
- Provide assistance to students with Colleague Self Service; requesting transcripts; verifying enrollment, degrees, and certificates; the registration process, adding or dropping a course, and making adjustments to schedules
- Document scanning and electronic file conversion
- Data entry as needed
- Other duties as assigned to support the office
- Ability to project an outgoing, friendly, and welcoming demeanor as the first point of contact in the office
- Assist a diverse population of students, staff, faculty, and visitors
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and be willing to learn and abide by the policies of the department and the University (requires a signed FERPA/Confidentiality Agreement)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have eligibility for Work Study funding through Financial Aid (contact finaid to confirm)
