Salary

This position is responsible for stocking all incoming items, ensuring all product is stocked in the proper location. Maintain inventory control and conduct cycle counts. Move, place, and categorize product, dispose of trash, cardboard, recyclables, etc. Responsible for maintaining a high level of safety and awareness when operating all motorized equipment within the facility. This role will move pallets around through the facility and includes driving through the warehouse, storage/pallet racking and maneuvering around tight spaces and corners.
REQUIREMENTSJob Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass both classroom and driving test to secure license
- Proven experience as a forklift operator a plus
- Proficient in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
- Mathematical Aptitude
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES: (included, but not limited to)
- Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers, flexi’s and automated pallet jacks as needed.
- Perform pre-operational checklist every day prior to operating any industrial equipment
- Maintains clean work area
- Pallet building and pallet picks
- Loads product on/off of racking, on/off trucks
- Stacks crates, pallets, and/or other materials
- Ensures the safe and efficient movement of product
- Follows safety regulations and company guidelines
- Check that loads are centered and properly stacked
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and take equipment out of service and notify maintenance if equipment is malfunctioning and/or non-operational
- Rotates product as required
- Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and/or shortages
- Utilizes radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory
- Shrink wraps product or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport
- Weighs and records weights of products
- Documents arrival, departure, and movement and storage of product.
- Checks trucking manifests and bills of lading, and tracks fulfillment of customer and vendor orders to ensure accuracy
- Open boxes and place items in correct bin locations
- Dispose of trash, cardboard, recyclables, etc.
- Locate/cycle count/inventory product as needed
- Other duties as requested.
- General climate-controlled environment.

- Ability to see, speak, hear, write, and understand English.
- Sustained attention to detail.
- Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.
- Good hand to eye coordination and some lifting may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, twist, turn, etc routinely throughout each day
7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with 30-minute meal break.
