Overview

Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) (T1878) rting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

As a Style Consultant, you will support guest service and operations to deliver a strong in-store experience. A typical day will include:

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying informed on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales and inventory, and to support guest needs.
• Sort freight, push freight to the floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority and manual fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Maintain backroom organization; locate merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through, delivering an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising, including signing execution.
• Maintain and utilize fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service back to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with relevant laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

Basic requirements and safety expectations:

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders as required
• Safely handle and move merchandise (frequently up to 15 pounds; occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance)
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Work in varied temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift
