Dishwasher

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time DISHWASHER position at Novo Nordisk – 1300 South Patterson, Bloomington, IN 47403. The schedule is full time, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; days may vary and further details will be provided during the interview.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour. Accountability:
Applicants must have previous dishwashing and/or prep experience (preferred). Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes; wash by hand or place in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine according to assigned equipment.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth according to equipment procedures.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as per provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
