Job Description:

4E PCU/Med Surg:
Mix Acuity Unit must be comfortable with PCU and Med Surg and will work across all if needed

• Years of experience REQ: 18 months
• First timers accepted:
  Yes
• Weekend REQ: Every other
• Certs REQ ACLS BCLS Required NIH is preferred

• Special Requirements: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias post cardiac surgery directly or indirectly from OR transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/replacement TAVI/TAVR Arterial line management blood production administration central line care/management PICC line management titrate cardiac drips titrate vasoactive drips.

• Preferred - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention Sheath Removal Ventricular Assist devices LVAD/RVAD/Impella Care of ventilated patients ventilator management. Previous charge experience is preferred.
