• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and coordinate activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic study results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or treatment response.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Minimum one year as a staff RN in an acute‑care hospital; critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
