Locum Nurse Practitioner – Palliative Care

Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioners in Bloomington, IN! Seeking fulltime locums coverage!

We are looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to join our Palliative Care Team! The Palliative Care Provider is part of a multidisciplinary team that focuses on improving the quality of life of people with serious, life-limiting illnesses through symptom management, support, and shared medical decision-making.

• Conducts physical examinations and preventive health measures as per physician's guidance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to evaluate patient's healthcare needs.
• Documents findings, formulates treatment plans, and collaborates with healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Submits patient healthcare plans for periodic review by physicians.
• Prescribes medications, recommends therapies, and refers patients to specialists as necessary while ensuring compliance with regulations and professional ethics.

• Full time (M-F), 40 hours per week (8am – 4pm)
• No Weekends
• No Call
• Previous Palliative Care or Hospital Medicine preferred

• Graduate from an accredited MSN program
• Must have Indiana RN license.
• Must have active APRN/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
• Must have BLS certification
