Job Description

Job Summary

The QA Inspector is responsible for reviewing finish goods and materials during the manufacturing process to make sure they meet company requirements. The QA Inspector will monitor and coordinate effective and efficient communication with the Quality Manager, other Quality and Berry team members and customers.

Position Responsibilities
  • Determine and verify product quality per customer expectations through conducting various pre-determined lab tests. Routinely audit production floor for safety, quality, and housekeeping issues.
  • Train production employees on film physical property testing; maintain testing equipment, calibration records, coordinate with test equipment repairs vendors, be able to work with Synergy for COA back-up.
  • Help with the investigation of customer complaints, from records review, film analysis, and root cause determination.
  • Professionally provide a Quality focus in staff activities, scheduling meetings, trials, process problems, etc.
  • Additional occasional off-shift and overtime support required.
Qualifications
  • Strong organization, and interpersonal skills to deal with multiple priorities.
  • Proactive troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with e-mail and spreadsheet programs.
  • Proactive communications skills to Production Leads and operators.
  • Professional demeanor; interact professionally with customers or other visitors.
