• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
• Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, prepare cleaning carts with supplies, and maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion
• Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms and public areas; use ladders or stools for hard-to-reach areas; maintain clean and sanitary guest restrooms
• Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas; clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
• Restock towels, soaps, and all room amenities; replenish literature as needed
• Vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways; operate vacuums up to 25 lbs; lift/move heavy furniture as required
• Inspect room equipment (TV, lights, faucets, radios) and report deficiencies in writing to the Executive Housekeeper
• Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies

• A professional demeanor, clear communication skills, and the ability to support multiple departments
• Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
• Continuous movement; ability to lift up to 55 pounds without assistance and more than 55 pounds with assistance; stand and walk for entire shift; repetitive motions
• Clean uniform and professional appearance
• Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance

The role requires continuous movement, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 55 pounds without assistance and with assistance for more than 55 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for a full shift and perform repetitive motions. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination required.
