As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, you’ll provide compassionate, individualized care to patients struggling with substance use disorders, helping them build a future rooted in stability and hope.
The RoleYou’ll guide patients through their recovery journey using evidence-based interventions, person-centered treatment planning, and therapeutic counseling. You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives holistic support—meeting not just clinical needs but emotional, social, and behavioral ones, too.
What You’ll Do- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on recovery and behavior change
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of treatment progress in accordance with regulations
- Modify treatment plans based on clinical feedback and evolving patient needs
- Respond to crises and provide immediate support or intervention
- Collaborate closely with medical providers, case managers, and community partners
- Support patient aftercare planning and coordinate referrals to additional resources
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and clinical case reviews
- Advocate for patients' needs within the treatment system and community
- Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Current and unrestricted state licensure to practice independently as a behavioral health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred
- Proficiency in evidence-based counseling practices and treatment planning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport
- Familiarity with ethical, regulatory, and confidentiality standards in behavioral health
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a treatment team
- Monday-Friday schedule - no weekends or holidays
