Overview
CNTR FOR RELIABLE & TRUSTED E (UA-CRTE-IUBLA) IU CREATE (Center For Reliable and Trusted Electronics) addresses critical issues in microelectronics (ME) technologies, bridging the gap between commercial ME innovation and technologies meeting stringent space and defense application requirements. We are dedicated to leading secure, trusted, and sustainable research in microelectronics with a focus on ME design, ME radiation effects, reliability, and workforce development.
We aim to conduct cutting-edge research on ME reliability in extreme environments, develop reliable solutions to accelerate commercial technology adoption for space and defense, and support technology transfer from lab‑to‑fab. IU CREATE aims to promote innovative education in ME and space sciences, fostering a collaborative hub for academic, government, and industry partnerships. Additionally, IU CREATE is committed to expanding workforce participation in space sciences through research, educational and workforce development initiatives.
