Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and student-centered 5th-8th grade Learning Support Teacher (LBS1) to join our team for the school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic Schooland has a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs through collaboration, classroom support, and targeted instruction. This role focuses on helping teachers implement accommodations, supporting students with ISP/IEP goals, and promoting social-emotional development through whole class lessons and small-group support.

This position works closely with classroom teachers, interventionists, and administration to ensure all students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. • Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Helps build the school's faith community through participation in school, religious, and service activities
• Attends district meetings and supports the implementation of IEP/ISP accommodations and modifications for 5th-8th grade students
• Pushes into classrooms to assist teachers in supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Provides small-group or individual support when needed
• Supports students in developing skills such as self-regulation, problem-solving, friendship, and resilience
• Works specifically with 5th grade teachers to integrate SEL practices into classroom routines
• Assists with the development and implementation of behavior supports and student intervention plans
• Participates in student supporting meetings, faculty meetings, and professional collaboration
• Supports school safety procedures, mandated reporting requirements, and crisis response as needed
• Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings

• Current Professional Educators License
• LBS1 endorsement or ability to obtain
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
