Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and student‑centered Pk‑4th grade Learning Support Teacher (LBS1) to join our team for the school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic School and have a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs through collaboration, classroom support, and targeted instruction. This role focuses on helping teachers implement accommodations, supporting students with ISP/IEP goals, and promoting social‑emotional development through whole‑class lessons and small‑group support.
This position works closely with classroom teachers, interventionists, and administration to ensure all students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. - Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Helps build the school's faith community through participation in school, religious, and service activities
- Attends district meetings and supports the implementation of IEP/ISP accommodations and modifications for PK-4th grade students
- Pushes into classrooms to assist teachers in supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Provides small‑group or individual support when needed
- Develops and delivers age‑appropriate SEL lessons in PK‑4th grade classrooms
- Supports students in developing skills such as self‑regulation, problem‑solving, friendship, and resilience
- Works with PK‑4th grade teachers to integrate SEL practices into classroom routines
- Assists with the development and implementation of behavior supports and student intervention plans
- Participates in student supporting meetings, faculty meetings, and professional collaboration
- Supports school safety procedures, mandated reporting requirements, and crisis response as needed
- Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings

Required Qualifications- Current Professional Educators License
- LBS1 endorsement or ability to obtain
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
