ACE is a two teacher school serving students in grades PK-8 located in Bloomington, Indiana just down the street from Indiana University. Bloomington is a university town with many cultural, educational, and professional opportunities.

University students assist with music and private music instruction for students. There are many outdoor opportunities for hiking, boating, camping, and exploring the beautiful areas of southern Indiana. Opportunities exist for urban, suburban, or country living. The school is attached to the Bloomington church and boasts multiple classrooms, a gym, kitchen, and fenced play area. The school enjoys the support of a committed school board and six constituent churches and three pastors.

ACE is integrally involved in ministry with area churches which includes supporting Pathfinders, Adventurers, Evangelism, Service Learning, and church visitations.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach multigrade (upper or lower) covering core subjects such as Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Bible
• Plan and implement engaging, faith-based lessons
• Cultivate a Christ-centered and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with students, parents, and fellow faculty members
• Participate in school and church-related activities

Requirements

• Must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for Adventist education
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (required)
• Valid NAD teaching certification (preferred) and willingness to obtain Indiana State licensure
• Strong classroom management and communication skills while maintaining a positive social emotional learning approach
• Strong technology skills with an openness to explore innovation and design thinking
• Ability to integrate Biblical principles into daily instruction
• Experience in multi-grade classroom settings is a plus
• Have the legal right to work in the United States
