Overview
Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) established its first endowed professorship in 1996 in honor of the first dean, Emily Holmquist. This professorship focuses on pediatric oncology nursing—an area that builds on the existing strengths of the school and its long history of close association with the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. IUSON is seeking exceptional candidates for the Emily Holmquist Professor or Scholar in Pediatric Oncology Nursing.
Responsibilities- Record of nationally and/or internationally disseminated and peer‑reviewed scholarship in pediatric oncology nursing.
- For appointment to Associate Professor, evidence of an emerging national reputation; for Full Professor, evidence of a sustained national reputation.
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams of interprofessional researchers across clinical and academic settings.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and mentoring, inclusive learning spaces, and preparation of graduates to lead in a complex world.
- Active participation in service at the school, campus, community, and professional levels.
