Advanced Imaging Cardiologist opportunity in Bloomington, Indiana
Indiana University Health Medical Group South Region, part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to join a well-established and collegial team. Practice medicine in a university community within a diverse cultural environment, located in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana. Experience or training in Nuclear, TEE, CT and Cardiac MRI is required.
Responsibilities- Full-Time;
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (with 1 day off every other week) - Inpatient 20% and outpatient 80% with 24/7 APP coverage
- Weekday call; 1:7-1:8 for weeknights, 5-6 weekends per year and 1 holiday
- Clinical outpatient outreach to other location(s) 1 day per week
- Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Fellowship training in Cardiology, required
- Advanced Imaging Fellowship, required
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
- Visa sponsorship available; H-1B and J1
The ideal candidate will support the growth of our cardiovascular program including but not limited to robotically assisted mitral valve repair, TAVR, Watchman procedures, Mitr Clip and a busy EP lab. Our program performs a high-volume number of echoes, nuclear studies, and a growing number of CCTA and CMR. PET is anticipated to be offered in the upcoming months.
