Position: Childcare Coordinator City Church For All Nations

Compensation:$15/hour for approximately 10–18 hours per month. Pay will be issued monthly by direct deposit.

Key Responsibilities:

Annually
  • Training (4 hours per year):Conduct annual training for all sitters during 2 separate events (or more frequently as needed).
Monthly
  • Survey (2 hours):Create a survey or other means to gather childcare needs for the month.
  • Coordinate childcare coverage for events and staff meetings:
  • Communicate with event leaders regarding childcare needs (check-in, activities, decorations, etc.).
  • Communicate with Groups director to figure out the needs for the semester and how that is covered week to week.
  • Schedule sitters as needed and ensure staffing requirements are met.
  • Schedule and Recruit (3 hours):Recruit, prepare, and fill staffing needs for all children’s events.
Weekly
  • Sitter In-person oversight (4 hours):Provide oversight of babysitters one evening per week (alternating nights as appropriate – approximately 2 hours each night).
  • It may be necessary for you to work at a few of the larger events that City has and oversee the babysitters. This will be something that we will discuss as events get scheduled. This would count as your one evening of the week.
  • Activities/Schedule (1 hour):Plan engaging activities that foster a safe and fun environment for children. Make sure sitters have resources and schedule outlines of what to be doing with the kids and how to keep them occupied and out of trouble.
  • Provide sitters with resources, schedules, and activity plans.
  • Onboard Training (1 hour):Train sitters on City Kids standards, operations, and policies.
  • Tracking (1 hour):Maintain records, including pay rates, emergency contacts, and required forms in a central binder.
  • Compile timesheets, check time and pay and get to financial manager at the end of each month.
  • Sitter Support (1 hour):Offer direction, support, and discipline to sitters as necessary.
  • Connect group leaders with sitter contact information when requested.
  • Ensure all sitters are familiar with City Church facilities, policies, and safety guidelines.
  • Downtown Childcare Coordinator (3 hours):As the Downtown Campus opens up, you would also be their Childcare Coordinator. The goal would be to maintain consistent standards across both locations. (The details can be worked out as we get closer.)
