Warehouse Supervisor; 2nd shift

The Receiving Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the Warehousing Leadership Team and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for supervising the activities of Incoming Receiving Warehouse Coordinators and Specialists. Responsibility includes material receipt and management, including API, across multiple areas or operations, supporting the production needs for manufacturing and packaging, including working with other Supervisors to deploy employees as needed across all Bloomington locations.

Additional requirements:

ensuring material availability to maintain schedule adherence, material receipt and transfer, picking of material, transport of material, inventory accuracy and appropriate management of dock and storage areas starting at receipt until final product shipment.

Activities include conformance to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), supporting warehouse cGMP compliance, working on powered industrial vehicles (PIV’s), and driving, loading/unloading product of all Finished Goods (FG), and Raw Materials (RM) between Simtra locations. The receiving warehouse locations support production (for both Filling and Packaging operations) through staging and preparation of batches, truck driving/movement of materials, and working to keep inventory up to date.

The Supervisor will cross train in all Supply Chain warehouses. This is full time, 5 days/week (40 hours/week) shift.

This position may require additional hours and/or weekend rotation/coverage as needed. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 am
-4:00 pm, with weekend coverage as needed. Hours will vary during audits to endure coverage.

• Provide guidance, support, direction, and leadership through positive interactions with all personnel during daily operations over multiple shifts.
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop staff. Conduct annual performance reviews for all direct reports. Assists in setting performance objectives and development plans.
• Supervise the day-to-day warehouse operations, scheduling and staffing, material management, compliance, training, and auditing activities to support Manufacturing needs. Implement, and schedule weekend coverage as needed. Balance employee PTO and coverage to support business needs.
• Oversee and Champion Safety, 6S, EMS and other programs as requested by Sr. Management.
