As a Front Desk Officer at a premier retail location, you will greet associates and guests, support access control and visitor processes, monitor activity through front‑of‑house systems, and document security‑related incidents with clear communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors and store team members by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Staff the front desk and help manage access by greeting visitors, verifying identification as required, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security‑related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including de‑escalation support and timely notification to local authorities when directed.
  • Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing customer traffic near entry and exit areas, reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting with incident documentation and reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
