1. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities (residential, commercial, HOA, etc.)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Conduct site visits to understand client needs, project scope, and site conditions
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and service agreements
• Meet or exceed sales targets set by leadership

2. Estimating & Proposals

• Accurately measure, calculate, and estimate cost for landscaping projects
• Prepare detailed proposals including scope of work, materials, labor, equipment, etc.
• Ensure estimates align with company profitability goals and operational capabilities
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and operations staff to validate estimates
• Update and maintain pricing databases for labor, materials, and equipment

3. Project Handoff & Coordination

• Transition awarded projects to operations teams with clear scope of expectations
• Communicate client expectations, budgets, and timelines to operations department
• Participate in pre-job meetings to ensure alignment between sales promises and production execution
• Client Services Follow-Up
• Act as point of contact for clients during bidding and project setup
• Provide revisions, value-engineering options, or alternative solutions to fit client budget
• Follow up on pending proposals and track leads
• Conduct post-project reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and explore additional opportunities

5. Market Knowledge & Reporting

• Stay updated on landscaping trends, material availability, and competitor pricing
• Provide feedback to leadership on market conditions, client needs, and service opportunities
• Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and revenue forecasts

• Experience - Some sales experience is preferred, but not required. Landscaping is a bonus, but can be taught on the job.
• Technical Skills - Computer skills and basic math/measurement skills are essential.
• Communication - Good verbal and written communication skills with coworkers and clients is imperative.
