Position SummaryThe Counter Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining product knowledge, marketing and promoting new products, assisting customers during the sales/purchase process, responding to inquiries professionally, and helping with daily warehouse functions.
Responsibilities- Maintain product knowledge and actively market and promote new products.
- Assist customers during the sales/purchase process and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Use ERP software to track and fulfill sales orders, pick items, create documentation, and place follow‑up calls.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships.
- Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis.
- Generate product stock requests and stay up to date on product knowledge.
- Create and maintain a positive working environment and a safe, clean workplace.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
- Effective communication, organized, and able to work within a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
- Basic problem‑solving and computer skills.
- Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level training or commitment to complete within 18 months of starting the job assignment.
Base pay $20–22 per hour plus commission.
