Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well‑established, full‑service law firm in Bloomington on the search for a Transactional Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated transactional matters while joining a collegial, mentorship‑driven environment that supports long‑term career growth.
Why this role is worth a look- Handle estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents
- Advise businesses and individuals on a range of transactional matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and related documents
- Assist in real estate or business‑related transactions as needed
- Work directly with clients and firm leadership on complex, high‑impact legal issues
- Build and maintain client relationships within Bloomington and the Central Illinois community
- Be part of a collaborative culture where mentorship and professional development are top priorities
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Illinois
- At least 2 years of transactional experience (3–5 preferred); estate planning experience required
- Additional experience in real estate or business transactions a plus
- Strong academic background, attention to detail, and client‑service orientation
- First 6 months in‑office, then hybrid schedule – for the right candidate, team will consider hybrid flexibility from the start
- Billable requirement: 1,200–1,500 hours in the first year
