F5 & Network Automation Engineer

$43/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

• Build and maintain automation frameworks for F5 infrastructure, including Ansible and Python scripting.
• Develop REST API integrations for network devices and F5 iControl REST; apply Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Configure and manage F5 BIG‑IP modules (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM) for load balancing, traffic management, security, SSL offloading, health monitors, traffic policies, and iRules via TCL.
• Optimize performance: monitor automation success rates and continuously improve workflows.
• Document processes: prepare SOPs, technical documentation, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex automation and network issues using diagnostic tools (e.g., tcpdump, logs, statistics).
• Manage DNS‑based global traffic distribution, GTM synchronization, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible automation and Python scripting for network and infrastructure automation.
• Expert‑level knowledge of F5 BIG‑IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) configuration and management.
• Proficiency in REST API integration and Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS) and load‑balancing strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops) and Git workflows.
• Strong Linux administration and BASH scripting skills.
• Good working knowledge of Python, NodeJS, React
  
  JS; familiarity with JavaScript and automation dashboards.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and automation issues.
• Experience with Git Lab CI pipelines and related command‑line tools.
