Expected pay for this position is $18.80 - $22.12/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Location:

Peoria, IL

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, rotating weekends

Travel:
There will be travel with this position to additional locations

Position Summary

The Team Assistant provides non-clinical support to regional team members in their delivery of care to patients, across all Care Services. The Team Assistant is responsible for managing agency referrals and ensuring all necessary information is available prior to the patient visit, managing work queues and performing other non-clinical, pre-coding activities. Updates the EMR and coordinates access to care (i.e. initial visits, ongoing visits and others, as directed).

The Assistant is also responsible for monitoring reports and providing timely communication to support regional leadership and employees in the field.

Qualifications
  • Required:

    High School Diploma/ GED. One year in an office clerical setting or customer service environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Preferred:
    Three years in an office clerical setting or customer service environment. Direct experience in medical setting. Knowledge of medical terminology.
