Pay range for this position is $30.41 - $44.05/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse, Fertility Care Professional provides professional nursing care in Natural Family Planning responsibilities for physician practice patients following established standards of practices, the practices of the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals and the Creighton Model. Ensures Creighton Model education is based on the principle of delivering age appropriate nursing care to the patients served. Serves as a community resource for education and awareness on Creighton Model Fertility Care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensure/certification:
  Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS. Completes two phase (EPI and EPII) training along with supervised practicums after hire
• Other skills/knowledge:
  Full support of Catholic ethical and religious directives for healthcare providers and facilities. Applicant practices the Creighton Model or if single and celibate monitors fertility in a natural method and is a philosophical acceptor of the system

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
  
  BSN. The FCP independently establishes with Fertility Care Centers of America, following completion of the Education Phases (training) and passing final exam
• Experience:
  
  6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of Natural Family Planning methods. OB/GYN nursing experience
• Licensure/certification:
  Active membership and certification through the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals, within 3 years of taking exam
• Other skills/knowledge:
  Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
