Job SummaryThe Vice President of Operations will oversee the operational and regulatory functions of our skilled nursing facilities in Central Illinois, requiring regular travel to multiple sites. This leadership role demands expertise in skilled nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and a dedication to enhancing resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of skilled nursing facilities across Central Illinois, ensuring high-quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS and Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines.
- Develop and implement resident care plans tailored to skilled nursing needs, including geriatric and dementia/Alzheimer’s care.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to optimize facility performance.
- Lead and mentor facility management teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs specific to skilled nursing standards.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and engagement.
- Develop strategic initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Travel regularly to facilities in Central Illinois to provide on-site leadership and support.
- Required:
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in Illinois or eligibility for reciprocity. - Preferred:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Proven leadership experience, including 5+ years as an LNHA in a skilled nursing setting.
- Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, CMS guidelines, and Illinois state requirements.
- Excellent financial acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach with a commitment to ethical leadership.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to facilities in Central Illinois.
- Experience overseeing operations in multiple skilled nursing facilities or a regional portfolio.
- Expertise in quality management and staff development in skilled nursing environments.
