Rates: weekend call: $ with 4 hour gratis, $350-425/hr after 4 hours. Friday call - $1000/night and $350-425/hr call-back. Rates depend on the availability and experience.

Schedule:
The role requires consistent weekend coverage from Friday at 5 PM to Monday at 7 AM. You will work 24-hour shifts. - Solo Practice:
You will be the primary provider on call and will work independently, with a 30-minute response time for calls. - Diverse Responsibilities:
Your duties will include providing full interventional cardiology coverage, handling Cath Lab procedures for inpatients as needed, and managing the hospital's STEMI auto-accept program. This program streamlines the process for patients experiencing a severe heart attack, getting them to the Cath Lab as quickly as possible. You will also perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and related interventional procedures. - EMR System:
The facility uses Epic for all charting. - Quick Privileging:
The estimated time to secure full or temporary privileges is 60 days.
- Provide full interventional cardiology coverage from Friday at 5 PM to Monday at 7 AM.
- Be available for STEMI call coverage, which is required to support the hospital's regional program.
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and other required Cath Lab procedures for inpatients.
- Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients.
- Collaborate with other employed and PSA cardiologists.
- Education:
MD or DO. - Board Status:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible. - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience. - Licensure:
An active Illinois State License is REQUIRED to apply. We are not able to consider candidates with an IMLC. - Certifications:
ACLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
- The target start date is September 19, 2025.
